A NEW REVOLUTUIN

HELLO FRIEND
Its a long time. really sorry for such a big time interval. actually i feel proud that i m so busy that couldnt write a new blog. Me as a zophian was as busy as others. our tour to bhopal was fantastic. the struggle and all the hard work of our team has really proved that hardwork never get wasted. before this program we zophians were very upset due to certain reasons. the biggest reason was the papers. yes, the first semister papers were just to commence so we were upset coz some of our friend couldn't join us due to papers.

but the main backbone of our band JOE decided not to drop this program. coz it was a very big platform for us. thsi time only 5 members of our band decided to perform. 3 guitarist, one drummer and a singer. but if there is a will there is a way too. this is going to be proved. lets read it out.

the best part in this program a new member joined our band and made it more stronger.
Ankur Shrivastava the bass guitarist. we started our practise in our own style. first we decided the songs and tried to play it in our own way. but simultaneously we were feeling a blank space. that was due to lack of a keys. same outsiders tried to enter in this and also tried to devide our band. but the best part is the unity between our band members. we decided not to take any outsider. so we 5 started doing practise. finally we go for the program to bhopal. unfortunately there were some financial problems. so we sold our drums that really hurts all the Zophians a lot. but in the end we encouraged ourself and went there with a new zeal. due to lack of money we were not able to hire any lodge. so we prefer to be i n station for 3 days.

finally in the program day we were very nervous. big and huge bands were there like inferno and so on. they were fulfilled with huge equipments. but at last we decided to give our best shot. JOE has started playing smoke on the water as a trial. audiance were getting excited as the heard such a zeeling sound. my guitar got damaged during the journey but i tried my best to perform. i played rock on theme as a trial. then we started with our practised composition

1. raw theme by zophia :- it is said like this coz the lead part was being created by JOE and is sung in our way.

2. hotel california :- oh just like orignal one. even manay people were bent 90 in front of us. really that was a superb feeling

3. its my life :- the best song that i like the most coz this song is cheared the most in every program.

finally we got to know that we secured 3 rank in all over INDIA. so that was really a proud feeling to be a zophian.
like wise it is being proved that hardwork is never go to drain.

ZOPHIA - wISDOM oF mUSIC

Music, the name itself suggests a passion that is in the entire crowd. Even the creation of the world is impossible without the music. Now a day, the style of music has been changed a lot. New musical instruments have been introduced which has made this much more passionating. The upcoming youth likes to listen songs of metal and rock versions. The western songs and also the Indian songs like from movie Rock On have become very much popular. Even the old persons can say that these songs are spoiling our culture, but it’s a wrong statement to say because as Vivekananda has truly said that:-

“LOVE AND MUSIC DONOT HAVE ANY LANGUAGE.”

Let me salute Zophians first. You people may thing that who are these Zophians??

First of all let me introduce these people to you:-

1. Chitrarup Mukherjee – Lead Guitarist
2. Sachin Mehra - Drummer
3. Rishabh Chowdhury – Lead + bass Guitarist
4. Saurabh Pare – Synthesizer
5. Abhishek Banerjee – Lead Singer
6. Ritesh Gupta – Rhythm Guitarist
7. Abhinandan Chaudhary – Bass Keys

As the name clearly shows that these are the band members of Zophia. ZOPHIA – WISDOM OF MUSIC is one of the rock bands which play all kind of western songs. The youth generation wants to see the zeal among the people which they can’t find from the normal orchestras. So, we zophians decided to fulfill the needs of our friends, the youth generation, by creating this everlasting band called ZOPHIA – WISDOM OF MUSIC.

Me Rishabh Chowdhury, I brought a second hand acoustic guitar by doing job. God knows how much that was difficult. I collected Rs.3500 for my guitar. And I decided that I have to make a band. On the guidance of Chitrarup Mukherjee I started my training. Likewise Sachin Mehra used to play pared drum in his school. Even he also had that passion in him. How can I forget Ghanupreet Birha. He was the first leading singer of our band. We didn’t have money to buy a drum. We all did jobs in very poor conditions and lastly collected Rs. 8000 to get a 5 piece acoustics drum. We started our practice but unfortunately Ghanu left our band after the first show. Oh I forgot to tell you. I and Sachin are from HITKARINI COLLEGE OF ENGGINEERING. We started our search in our college for some singers and instruments player. After a huge suffers we finally got some good players like Ritesh and Saurabh. They finally joined our group and again we did a good job as a band. After that Chitrarup Mukherjee decided to guide us and join our band as a lead guitarist. That decision was like a great privilege for us. And our fortune continues with him as Abhishek Banerjee joins us as a lead singer in our band. As all 7 never loose the fever of music so everyone started calling us as ZOPHIAN’S not only in our college but also in many places.

ZOPHIA, a very tough looking name. But its meaning is as simple as we people, as pure as our feeling towards music. Zophia is not an English word. Its meaning is wisdom or we can simply say it WISDOM TOWARDS MUSIC. This name is decided by us but is appreciated by others. And now we all zophians personally feel that we are really incomplete without your support. This blog will be updated time to time. So please read this blog and feel the power of music.
